the Inn

The Kitzhof Inn was built in 1958 in an Alpine style by the original owner who skied in Austria a lot and named it the Kitzhof after
the Austrian for " Goats (kids) House".
Simon and Alison are the fourth owners and took over in September 2005.
Many additions have been made to the building over the years but the original style has been kept. The cedar log alpine construction is unique to any other Inn in the area.
You get to the front garden and fire pit by crossing the pedestrian covered bridge (added in 2006) which crosses the brook.
Renovations were made to the pool area in 2007.
The large parking lot provides space for 30 cars, numerous motorbikes and 2-3 buses.
The Kitzhof has 24 bedrooms all with own bathroom and cable TV. The bedrooms on the ground floor and first floop run from the Lounge and dining areas along hall ways to the north, east and west, which is a typical style of Alpine Lodges.
